About Valspar India
In business since 1806, Valspar is the only major coating manufacturer in the world that
focuses solely on coatings and inks, and we are the world's largest coatings supplier to
the metal packaging industry and the second largest in Wood coatings. Following their
global customer base, Valspar expanded into Europe, Africa, Middle-East and India in 1996
with the acquisitions of Coates Coatings and the Dexter Corporation in 1999 followed by
the Lilly Corporation in 2001 to strengthen the company’s Industrial Coatings division.
In 2004 the car refinish manufacturer De Beer joined the growing family of Valspar paint
businesses in Europe, Africa, Middle-Easte and India. Today, with over 1100 employees and
11 manufacturing sites across Europe and Africa, Valspar is proud to offer the following
products to our global customers:
- Coatings and inks for rigid packaging, particularly food and beverage cans
