valOR® Barrier Resins
valOR® is the registered trademark for Valspar's line of proprietary barrier resins, providing superior oxygen-scavenging barrier performance and compatibility with PET. valOR® exhibits improved processability compared to other resins, while offering substantial improvements in delamination resistance and excellent clarity. Three grades of valOR® have been developed to meet the specific shelf-life requirements of PET packaging in all food, beverage and medical applications, package designs, and storage conditions. Also, valOR® resins are designed for use in multilayer or monolayer structures, such as bottles, film-based packaging and coextruded packages. Valspar can tailor existing grades to develop a customized version for your specific products and processes.

Valspar's resin technologies can be supplied globally, allowing the global customer to supply consistent products to their multinational accounts. Additionally, our technical service team can be utilized on-site to maximize application efficiencies and adherence to customer specifications.
